[mod_python] Cannot find mod_python.so

Hi all me again

well im still trying to get this stuff working and it aint happening ... sob

I have installed apache from source with --enable-so

I have run modpython from source using
--with-python
--with-apxs

it all seemed to go fine

I have added all the appropriate directives in httpd.conf

But when I start the apache server I get this

Cannot load /usr/local/apache2/modules/mod_python.so into server

Please, any help will be appreciated
