This is with Apache 1.3? I have Apache 1.3.23, Python 2.2 and mod_python 2.7.8. If I build Python with threads then Apache dies on startup with the malformed error message "alize: can't make modules dictionary" Maybe the problem is Python 2.2 as opposed to 2.2.1/2.2.2.
