[mod_python] Compile Problems

Hi,
Just compiled Apache 1.3.19 on RH7.1 with mod_python
as a dso against Python 2.1

I get this error when I try to start Apache
Cannot load mod_python.so into server
undefined symbol: openpty

Any ideas??
