After a long, long weekend, I've crashed and burned attempting to install mod_python on RH7.0 (with all RHN updates). The RPM install failed by rendering httpd unstartable (instant death with no apparent reason). Commenting out the LoadModule and AddModule lines for mod_python gets httpd working again in its original state). Has anyone successfully installed via the RPM? Furthermore, can this RPM be used with python 2.0 (my desired platform)? If not successful with RPM, has anyone successfully installed from source on RH7.0 w/python 2.0? Thanks!
