Already answered: It's a dedicated (or semi-dedicated) server with Apache
pre-installed by the service provider.

So, for the OP (online service): I think you should consider installing a
fresh new Apache and tune it your way. You dont know how to do? Give
someone the keys :-) (Follow Up in private if you want)

The one preinstalled might have been a "secured [1]" one just for the use
of 90% of the population: PHP/MySQL.

[1]: I meant without unneeded things.
      They thought people would never need APR.
