[mod_python] How can you use hotshot with mod_python?

I've got a handler that's running like a newt on the highway under the
midday sun. I suspect a database query but I don't know which one.
There's easy enough ways to figure that out, but I thought this would
be a great opportunity to figure out how to use hotshot with
mod_python. Except I don't know where to start. Can you do such a
thing?
