You may also want to consider a system that provides more separation of the 
HTML/interface and the Python code.  There are many, but allow me to take 
another opportunity to plug PSE, which I think does this very well.  A big 
bonus to your GUI developer is that you can provide custom tags so that 
he/she never has to see a lick of Python in the template.
