[mod_python] version mismatch

I think Im running into version problems

I run python from the unix prompt and I get Python 2.2.3


I created a little .py program that is call through apache using mod_python
that imports sys and prints out the sys.verions. That displays 2.2.1


Do I have to re-install or re-configure mod_python to pick up the correct
python version? How do I get the versions to match?
