[mod_python] session example

can anyone post a simple working example of how to use sessions
especially how to recover existing sessions


I can make a new session but i can't recover an existing session.

is the sid cookie automatically written down to user comp and recovered
or do I have to manage myself the writing and reading of the sid via cookie 
mechanism ?
