[mod_python] Using publisher handler to generate directory index - how to do it in right and easy way ?

I agree this wouuld be a handy feature.  If it's likely to cause problems
(with backward compatibility, perhaps), then it could be selected with a
configuration directive (PythonOption PublisherDefault [off|<name>]), or even
exist as a separate publisher.

I'm sure we're all missing some good reason this is a bad idea.

Otherwise, I'd be willing to create a patch.
