[mod_python] session data and shared memory

I'm using Albatross (http://www.object-craft.com.au/projects/albatross/) with 
great success for maintaining lots and lots of state in mod_python 
applications.  But it's a framework that might be hard to bolt on to existing 
mod_python code.
