[mod_python] Newbie needs help: Compile errors, segfault, andwarnings on Solaris 2.6 w/ apache 2.0.44 and mod_python 3.0.1

After using a 2x4 and a kind word, I managed to compile it with gcc version
2.95
Guess what, now it works (sort of... see next post...)
