[mod_python] Apache startup error using mod_python under Windows 2000 (have msvcr70.dll)

   My version of windows is Windows XP Version 2002.

FYI, I don't know what testing hardware you have, but we have XP and 
Solaris 8 in house. 
We'll also have some Solaris 9 shortly.  Additionally, I can set up some 
HPUX 11i  boxes if needed.
I say this not to brag, but only to offer help if you need additional 
platforms to run tests on for your 
new alpha version.

Getting a version for Python 2.2 is tricky because the production
of the installer requires 2.3, so what I had to do in the past is compile

"stock" means the binary from www.python.org, as opposed to Win32, Active
or compiled. All Apache is the binary from www.apache.org.
