Hello,

I´m using Red Hat 8, httpd 2.0.40, mod_python 3.0.0 and Python
2.2.2. Everything is working, but I´m experiencing this error when I
try to compile mod_python 3.0.3 (needed for other apps):

...
checking your blood pressure... a bit high, but we can proceed
checking whether apxs is available
checking for --with-apxs... no
checking for apxs in /usr/local/apache/sbin... no
checking for apxs in your PATH... checking for apxs... no
configure: warning: **** apxs was not found, DSO compilation will not be available.
configure: warning: **** You can use --with-apxs to specify where your apxs is.
configure: error: Neither static nor DSO option available, there is no point in continuing.

Any hints on this?

Thanks in advance.
