[mod_python] Python libraries install configuration issue

Hello All,

I have two (unrelated) questions:

1. I was unable to find a searchable version  of the archives - is there
one?

2. Am I forced to install the python libraries during the mod_python
installation into somewhere in /usr/local/lib or can I configure it somehow
to target another directory?  I am trying to install a non-root required
version and would like to stay away from common system areas.
