[mod_python] Help on installation

Hi,

I am trying to get mod_python working on linux RedHat 6.2
I downloaded an RPM, and configed httpd.conf

The error log of httpd says
 
could not import mod_python.apache
could not call init

I tried to import mod_python.apache from an interactive
python shell, and got message 
_apache 
is missing.

What's the problem?  Fix?
