In 1.5.2 it is distributed as part of the doc source distribution. It
requires a whole lot more than mkhowto, however. It needs a whole bunch of
TeX and LaTeX stuff and some other tools.

mod_python is for 2.0 or 1.5.2 equally :-) I've been using 2.0 lately.
