I spent a day and a half trying to get PyChart working under mod_python.
I liked PyChart because it was one of the friendlier graphing apps out
there. There were some posts in the archives on how to get it to work
but they seemed to end unressolved.
Searching on google I found Chartdirector which works for python, php,
and perl. I used the demo version and converted my stuff over. It works
great under mod_python and has its own mechanisms for wrangling temp
files. I bought the license for $100 which takes the "you didn't buy
this" at the bottom of the graph.
I wanted to post this on the list, not because I want to sell their app,
but to save somebody their time in the future when they are wrestling
with graphs under mod_python. kudos to all!
