It certainly can be done. Can you be more specific about your concerns?

As to implementations showing how one can integrate mod_python and
XML-RPC together see XML-RPC service wrapper in Vampire:

Depending on exactly what you are trying to do and how sophisticated
you need to get, might be able to suggest other options you can explore
