Let me clarify. I am trying to install the Windows binary, mod_python-3.1.3.win32-py2.3.exe, which is the latest mod_python Windows binary, under Python 2.4 running under Windows. I have already installed this binary under Python 2.3 but I want naturally to use the latest version of Python and mod_python under Windows. When I attempt to install the binary, it says it only finds the registry entry for Python 2.3, and therefore the installation paths are for Python 2.3 and not Python 2.4 under Windows, and can not be changed.

Is there a reason that no Windows binary installation of mod_python has been created for Python 2.4 ? Will there be a Windows binary version of mod_python for Python 2.4 ? I would much appreciate having one as I have planned to do my web server programming using mod_python and, if I can not get mod_python to install for the latest Python distribution, I have to look for another means of doing Python web server programming even though I am already very familiar with mod_python and enjoy using it.
