[mod_python] Apache startup error using mod_python under Windows 2000 (have msvcr70.dll)

It didn't occur to me that the problem may not be with 3.1.0a but with 
my virtual machine.
I haven't tested 3.0.3 on my Virtual Machine, I'll look at doing that 
but it'll have to be on Monday I'm afraid...
What might be helpful to know, is is there a generic way of debugging 
why the module is not loading?
