Finally it works! I had to create a symbolc link, as proposed by Christoph: # ln -s /usr/lib/apache/lib/python2.2/site-packages/mod_python /usr/lib/python2.2/site-packages/mod_python Thank you very much!! - (I was at the end of my wisdom!)
